SMS Program Privacy

Insurance SMS Privacy Policy

Last updated October 12, 2026 Applies to the insurance consultation SMS program

This page describes how information is handled for the insurance consultation text message program — the request-based SMS messages you may receive after asking Steven Spencer for an insurance consultation. It was written specifically for that program and applies prospectively to new opt-ins made on or after October 12, 2026.

Supplementary to the main policy. This is a supplemental notice for one specific program. It does not replace, amend, or change the effective date of our general Privacy Policy, which carries its own existing effective date and continues to govern our broader data practices.

1 What this notice covers

This notice applies only to the insurance consultation SMS program: non-marketing text messages sent by Chief Investment Properties LLC, the registered SMS brand, regarding an insurance consultation you requested with Steven Spencer.

It covers the information used to send and manage those messages. It applies prospectively — to new consent selections and new SMS activity on or after October 12, 2026. It does not retroactively change how any earlier opt-in or program activity was handled.

This program is request-based only. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages, and agreeing to SMS is not required to request a consultation or to purchase anything.

2 Information used for the SMS program

If you opt in to text messages on the consultation request form, we use:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number.
  • The details of your consultation request — for example, the state and coverage interest you selected, any message you chose to include, and your preferred contact method.
  • Your consent selection (whether you agreed to SMS or not), the date and time of that selection, and the source URL of the page where you made it.

Purpose of use: to respond to the consultation you requested, to schedule and remind you about appointments, to follow up on your inquiry, and to manage opt-outs.

We do not ask for sensitive information in this form

The consultation request form does not request medical information, Social Security numbers, payment card or bank account details, or insurance account numbers. Please do not include that kind of information in your message.

3 How SMS information is shared

No marketing sharing. Mobile information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

No sharing of opt-in data. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties — except with service providers necessary to deliver the text messages on our behalf. They are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

No sale. We do not sell SMS consent or mobile opt-in information.

4 Your choices and how to withdraw

SMS consent is optional and unchecked by default. You can submit the consultation form without agreeing to text messages, and you can request a consultation without any SMS consent at all.

  • Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive no more program texts except one confirmation of the opt-out.
  • Reply HELP to any message for assistance.
